“Lovely hotel with excellent service. Highly recommended!”

“Todo muy cómodo”

“The room was a reasonable size with a king size bed and a small en suite. However, we found a large stain (possibly blood) on the corner of the mattress topper. We also found one of the windows couldn't be open due to it having parcel tape stuck over window and frame. This looked messy and botched. It was a cold room and when we went to turn the radiators on they were filthy with dust and debris in the grills!! We complained to the receptionists who immediately arranged to move us to another...

“We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

“Stay spoiled by very loud neighbours from 6:30am. Suppose that is. Ot the hotels fault but the walls are paper thin”

“Super position and lovely staff. Comfortable room”

“The staff was really nice and always willing to help. The hotel was antique and some stances could be refurbished although it also has the beauty of that age. ”

“The general public areas were excellent and staff friendly and efficient. We would certainly staff again. Minor points - Our executive room was on the 3rd floor and ceiling and windowsill let the decorations down although for an old building a very nice room. Could do with more plug sockets especially at bedside for charging purposes.”

“We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift”
