“The hotel is extremely dated. Note that there is a large annex, so if you are in a “garden” room, you are not staying in the castle, it is an outdated 1980s annex. The bathroom had a sink that had been broken and poorly glued back together and a very dirty fan. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and could have used a mattress topper. You feel every spring in the mattress. The entire hotel also had a very musty smell. The actual castle portion has potential to be very beautiful, but some...

“We had a wonderful stay. The decor was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Jen and Simon were fabulous hosts and their staff were so helpful. Plenty of options for a great breakfast and the hotel was in a great location, just a short walk to the sandy beach. We will be back!”
