“Great little inn over the river from the main part of Shrewsbury so much quieter. Easy walking into town just over the bridge. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nepalese restaurant as part of the premises. Good food at a reasonable price. Onsite parking is a bonus.”

Sadly Expedia does not include information about the live music at the Malthouse, so we were unprepared for the volume in our room immediately above the music which went on until about 12.30a.m. Not surprisingly, this rather spoiled our otherwise enjoyable stay.”

“I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at.
