“Lovely old pub off the main road. Staff are helpful, they serve a good pint and the breakfast was first rate. Negative points - the mattress on the king-size bed is too soft and no brewed coffee in the morning. I would stay there again.”

“Lovely location in the middle of the beautiful Shropshire countryside, ideal for touring (which is what I was doing). Large pub with extensive menu and large garden. They even had a family fun event taking place in the glorious sunshine. Breakfast cooked to order - excellent. Would stay again if I ever venture that way again.”

“We had a fantastic time with our young toddler. Spacious and well equipped property, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Excellent and well maintained facilities with the highlights being a tennis court and an indoor swimming pool! Beautiful and peaceful location, surrounded by fields and countryside. “The beautiful setting and views of the river Severn were wonderful. The staff were always extremely helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.”
