“Great hotel Lovely pub”

“This is an Honest Review of our stay October 2026. Upon arrival we found the main door was locked. There was a hand written note on the door saying the pub/restaurant was shut due to an electrical fault. Fair enough this is beyond the control of the hotel. A member of staff did let us in and told us our room was ready and not affected by the electrical fault. They showed us to our room and that was that. The Room was ok. The room was nothing special, it was clean and tidy with some general wear...

“Perfect place for rest”

“Had a cottage suite and it was great .Roomy accomodation comfortable beds and clean .Good breakfast and nice staff”

“A lovely character property in the heart of Barnstaple. Our room was lovely and very spacious. The owner was extremely helpful and always available when needed.”

“great”

“Our stay at the Lorna Doone B&B could not have been better! We loved everything about our experience in this beautiful house with fantastically friendly hosts. Great room, a delicious breakfast and wonderful people who made us feel like royalty and family at the same time. Certainly one of the best places that we have ever had the luck to experience.”

“Wow! We liked everything about our stay. The directions were spot on (not always easy in the UK) and the on -site parking was an added bonus. The location is walking distance to The Valley of Rocks in Exmoor National Park, and to the super cute “Old Town” area of Lynton. Our room was spacious and stocked with everything we needed to feel like we were in a deluxe hotel. My husband was especially impressed by the complimentary cake. Superb breakfast, which is made to order with many options....

“Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Well located.”

“Lovely hosts, really excellent breakfasts, good facilities, clean and comfortable room. A real 10/10 sort of place.”

“This is our 4th visit. Great hotel to access Exmoor and surrounding towns. Relaxing location with some life around it. You could arrive for 2 nights and also not go anywhere.”
