“This is a formal complaint about Palm Grove and its current manager (Betsy or Mama Tum). My wife and I arrived on 31st May 2026 planning to stay until 22nd June 2026. This is our second stay in Rarotonga, as this was a special occasion for my wife's 80th Birthday. We left early on the 10th June 2026, as we could no longer bare to stay any longer at this resort, so we returned to New Zealand. The accommodation itself (Superior Garden Room was very good). “Ideal for a quiet stay, we were away from road and beach, so nice and quiet, Good food, slightly expensive so tended to eat elsewhere. Wifi was extra cost, so we just usedthe free Wifi in the afternoons by the cafe/bar on the beach. Good sized room, basic but everything we needed.”

“The staff is so friendly and our room was clean and had everything we needed. Having the restaurant on site really makes the difference.”

“Son unos preciosos Bungalows que hay al lado de la playa. Tuvimos la suerte de estar en uno de los que dan directamente al mar y comentar que son perfectos para unos dias de relajación. El complejo es intimo, ya que solo existen 10 Bungalows lo que permite disfrutar de todas las instalaciones sin aglomeraciones incluyendo la piscina. Lo mejor de todo sin lugar a dudas es el personal del hotel ya que no solo hace que te sientas en casa si no que te ayudan en todo lo posible para que tu estancia...

“Fabulous views, basics of all you need to cook needed. Close to lagoon, restaurants and best bakeries.”

“The property was well presented. The property managers (Rochele & Leo) were very friendly, helpful and accessible, especially when they visited and waited with me in emergency and drove me back home. Air conditioning was good. I expected the villa to face the waters as shown. Also, not easily accessible to local transport. Overall lovely place!”

“What a great location right near the beach with several stores just across the road. Lovely onsite Hosts and it suited our visit with family with a generously sized self catering villa. We would stay there again. David & Jo”

“Very helpful and considerate staff members. Very spacious and clean apartment. Comfortable bed. Plenty of towels and beach towels supplied. Good selection of DVDs and books in a library. Also water equipment supplied. Easy access to beach. We saw some great whale activity while we were there. Great for sunsets too. Sue was great in securing us a rental car. Great restaurants and cafe in the area.”
