“The Hotel is very good value for money. Great for an overnight stay. Rooms are clean although would benefit redecorating. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a heated towel rail and free WiFi. Ample car parking. The Hotel lacks Bar/Restaurant but a Buffet style Breakfast is available. This looks much improved from my first stay. (I have stayed five times at this Hotel) There is now a Bistro menu in the evenings, I am looking forward to trying this on my next visit.”

“A lovely hotel and restaurant. The room was very good, roomy with a huge bed which was super comfortable. Bathroom was quite small with nowhere to hang towels but shower was excellent. Breakfast was from a menu selection and was excellent quality. Staff were friendly and helpful and there was a lovely atmosphere. There was live music on the Friday night which stopped at 11pm. The location was fantastic in the historic centre and free car parking at the rear of the hotel. Really loved it and...

“Lovely hotel, staff were fantastic and room was cleaned to an okay standard. We stayed for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned, tea/coffee not replenished, no fresh towels, toilet rolls not replenished resulting in me having to call reception for more. That was the only downside to the stay”

“The property was ok. I would have liked to use my paddle board on the water but was unable to. Also it would have been nice to see more of the water. No real places to walk or cycle”

“Room was clean but the wardrobe needed mending. There were also a couple of holes on the window ledges. The room was quite small. It cost me £63 for a night with a shared bathroom and for the cost I expected better. The shared bathroom was the floor below which was too far from the room. Would have been handy to have a sink in the room. It said on Expedia site there was parking but I was not allowed to park in the car park because I only had a single room. If I wanted to use the car park...
