“Room and private bathroom was very clean, had a lovely hot shower, staff was polite and helpful, parking was not a problem at all”

“Great value, great location, friendly team, very helpful, this is my second stay here and I will definitely return.”

“It's in a good location, poor hygiene levels, bed bugs, cold in Autumn/winter, damp in bathrooms/not very well ventilated, the hotel needs pest control and a spruce up with new carpets, beds & mattresses, need proper cleaners, the shower step is too high especially for disabled people.”

“We stayed for just one night, staff very helpful in arrival. Room 12, quite compact but just about big enough, on suite was also compact but useful, clothes shelving was very dusty and marked a dark blue top and the mattress was well past its sell by date, could feel straight through it so no good for bad backs or metal hips! Kettle was a plus after a long journey and it was very quiet throughout the night, we would stay again but a better room.”

“Comfortable bed, and very convenient location. TV and wifi worked well. Had to ring to ask for towels, which arrived a little while later. The room was very damp and parts of the carpet were wet. As there was no heating on in the building everything in the room got damper. I could not have a shower on my 2nd full day because there was no way the towel from the previous day could have dried out. Shower barely warm even when turned up to max heat.”

“Great little family get away x”

“So the pictures are taken from a different hotel as that pub is not across the road. It was freezing cold and it states checkout for 12pm however cleaner was knocking door at 10am. Bedss are comfy and locations is good. But reviews are correct it smells damp. Not private bathroom as advertised!! You defo get what you pay for”

“We were a bit disappointed this time, as the boiler was not working. The bathroom floor was dirty, lamp shades to. The cooker was greasy and the flames were yellow. We didn't get any shower gel or shampoo . By from that we had a lovely "getting sunburnt”

“Good location”

“Stay here would stay here again”

“The hotel felt dingy and unclean. I'm sure it was nice one day, but that day was a long time ago. Also the access code to the room keys was left on the unattended reception with a list of the guest names, I'm certain this against data protection laws.”

“I must be honest, I am very disappointed. For some strange reason although I checked reviews before hand, I was not able to see all the reviews which would have prevented me from booking. 20 min before leaving the owner messaged to say his cleaner did not come and asked whether we still wanted to go. He offered us £60 refund if we wanted to go and take our own bedding etc. We accepted as we were all packed. Arrived there, no hot water and the place wasn't really well kept. We contacted the...

“So shops are near by as are arcades etc but the van its self needs updating. It hadn't been cleaned much as there was sand in bathrooms, dirt up the sides near dinner table cob webs etc etc but as we was staying one night we felt with it. Tho 1 bathroom the floor felt unsafe and the roof in living room looks as if bowing.”

“The hut was amazing & laid our really well. Unfortunately the cleanliness was not up to my standards. There was a squished fly on the coffee table & it required dusting considerably. The bathroom was clean though. We didn't see a member of staff the whole time we were there (2 days) & to contact anyone was difficult too. The hot tub was very nice, but for the money paid I would expect a daily refill of wood. We had to buy quite a bit more to use it. Lastly, they have a carpark for all cars....
