“I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. At about 15:30 I had to check into ANOTHER hotel as I had meetings in Corbridge at 16:15. On returning to Hexham I noted the pub was open and I spoke to the manager about the issues I...

“You don't get good feeling when you get into the room and there weren't shampoo/body wash (delivered next morning). There is no reception and a call to the hotel, it was received by property manager. She mentioned that we didn't had the reservation from Expedia but upon insisting, she found it and took 10 mins to arrive for letting us in. For the price, it's not what I had expected from the room & amenities”

It was reassuring to know that we could reach out if we had any questions or concerns during our stay. Areas for Improvement While we had a lovely...

Also a 2 minute walk from a car rental agency and on site parking, which allowed us to get to and from town via train from Newcastle, but still rent a car for a day trip out to the Northumbria coast to see Bamburgh Castle, the beaches and beach towns. The unit feels nearly...
