Vacations Close To Zephyr Cove Beach

There are many amenities. I enjoyed the over 21+ only infinity pool and hot tubs. I just wish there were more "public" lounge chairs up there instead of reserved paid areas. I preferred to get a daquiri from Fat Tuesday, which is just outside the pool area, which is the only alcohol they allow you to bring in. $14 for 20 oz versus $17 for 16 oz if you buy the frozen drink at the pool. There is a nightly magic show that I booked prior to my visit. However, upon check in, you are given a 20% off coupon for the show. The venue is not booked so you can get good seats still even if you wait to book in order to get the discount. They do have music by the pool which lasts until after midnight. If you don't want to be disturbed by the music, ask for a room that does not face the pool. Also the gym was nice. 3 treadmills, stair climber, free weights and few machines. Housekeeping is every 3rd day but you can call to get towels and more shampoo. Housekeeping is cleaning, providing clean towels, and making the bed. The sheets are not changed. There is a housekeeping fee of $1.99/ day that you can waive but do remember to tip them by cash if you do.

We asked for a roll away bed several times with no response. When I asked about it the next day at checkout, they let us know that it was a safety issue. Had they told us that from the beginning, we wouldn't have waited until midnight to go to bed. Better communication would have been appreciated.

Hotel is very outdated and not maintained to Marriott standards. This is not a Marriott owned property. Rooms are very funky with terrible lighting. There is virtually on light overhead and a very strange light above the night stand. The room has older carpet that has an odor and towels and linens are not Marriott quality. I would not stay at this property again.

The only thing that would have made the stay easier would be to have simple kitchen contents like utensils, cups, etc…

Comfortable, clean rooms. We are repeat customers. Noticed this time the pillows were lumpy.

I liked the kitchen staff, she was very hospitable and could teach the front desk staff a few things.

I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly, accommodating and helpful. They went out of their way to take care of us. One of us is handicapped and they complimentary valet parking was a godsend. Everything was clean and upgraded. Great experience. We will repeat.
