I was pleasantly surpised. Initially I thought the stay would be a hassle with loud noises throughout the night - nothing at all. Room was clean and the shower was hot.

Fellow at the desk was awesome. I needed extra pillows (very important to me) and he accommodated. Room was simple but well kept and clean, mostly. As clean as my own home. TV (smallish) and fridge worked. I didnt try the microwave. Shower was a little smaller than I prefer (think phone booth) and the shower head was at my throat level (I am tall) but workable. Toilet is the round type, not elongated as I prefer (too personal to explain why) but workable. I am a little leery about the mandatory $50 security deposit I had to sign over separately on my credit card (with no receipt for me) -- on checkout I asked if I could have an inspection right there and was told "no". I am trusting that this will not be a problem. I left the room as I found it, took pictures on leaving, just in case. I understand "why" they do it....and it stinks that a few bad apples mess it up for all.....but I would feel better if they would look at the room before I leave the premises. No carpet -- hardwood laminate floors......from a "clean" standpoint, a bonus........but if you have old achy feet like mine that hurt on hard floors, plan accordingly. But other than that, room was a great value for the money.

Perfect for one night stay. Room (204) was cleaner than what I expected. No funky smells as one might expect. Cobweb on ceiling in one corner of the room. Shower was small. Second floor hallway reeked of weed.

The only complaint I have is , we booked a 2 night stay and we never received clean towels for the second ! I would have thought house keeping would have at least picked up the dirty linen !

Motel is in dire need of updating. It seems like they are trying, but motel as a whole is dingy and run down. Doesn't matter if you pick smoking or non-smoking as the entire motel smells of cigarette smoke. It is very overpowering. It does look as if they are trying to update certain aspects of it, but you get what you pay for. Front desk clerk very friendly.

disappointing

When I checked in, I had to switch rooms due to a leaking refrig. that was not working... water on floor. second room was better. It at least had carpet. soap that was provided was the size of a cheezit. But the room was clean. It was ok for one night. Tiny bed pillows. The people were friendly just wasn't taken care of well.. smelly hallways, dirty carpet, etc. Probably would not stay again..

Clean & affordable

Arrived after midnight, woke up the manager (sorry)... she was friendly to us, anyway! Quick, easy transaction. Room is very basic. When you want to get a room for little cost, don't expect Taj Mahal. The smell of cigarettes or pot fills the hallway and ends up in our "no smoking" room. The same thing happens in other inns, so nothing new. I do wonder why anyone asks the question, "smoking or non", as it never seems to improve my experience. Slept OK. Hope I don't smell of smoke to others all day. All in all, I factor cost savings highly, so I am satisfied with this accommodation.

My second stay, two nights this time. Overall great. Phone in room did not work and cell was sketchy so I had to walk out to the desk in my PJs to get an issue resolved (needed WIFI code as mine had expired). Bathtub drain backed up somewhat as I was showering. Otherwise great stay. Thanks for the 2 extra pillows as I requested, I really need them.
