This is a fabulous place to stay with fabulous staff. The room was also clean and lovely, the warm breakfast was delicious, & parking amenities were lovely. It is also in a perfect location to get to downtown in just a few minutes of a walk. Would highly recommend

We spent 3 nights at St. Raphael. A really lovely b&b. Perfectly located for the centre of York being just a easy 10 minute walk away. Was lovely and clean. A lovely breakfast room with a cooked and cold buffet breakfast available. Parking outside can be secured by the owners. They just need your registration number before you arrive. A big thank you to Jamie,Fran and the team for making us so welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean. Our family room on the second floor was very hot even with two fans going most of the time and windows open and temperature was only 22-25 outside. Breakfast ok but cooked breakfast bit small, no marmalade any day and no fruit bowl on last day. Towels very small. Would stay again as very convenient for seeing York. 👍

Lovely welcome when I got to the guest house. The lady helped to ensure I parked in the correct place and as my room was not ready, I was early, took my bags and placed them in my room. Breakfast was very nice good quality products well cooked. Ideal location for me

Breakfast had funny taste first day, decent second day. Front entrance mat extremely grubby and this is what welcomes you. Peeling paint, dead flower pots and no hanging baskets at front. Carpets dirty around bed, defiant tracks. Couple we was with had stayed there before, said it had definitely gone down hill with all the above mentioned plus they used to have homemade loafs of bread and jams and yogurts where much betțer on the whole seemed to be cutting costs and corners. Bed comfy and clean as was bathroom. Staff pleasant
