“Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom. Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc. Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big. “They do not do the daily cleaning, unless you ask for, but I wasn't told while check in. The fire alarm triggered at 7.30 in the morning and nobody explained anything. The shower mech wasn't working properly and it was impossible to enjoy a relaxing moment after a hard day at work. ”

“Location was perfect for Tamworth Town, as soon as I arrive quite late in the evening I was greeted by a friendly smile and the WIFI code was given to me as a priority, perfect no one want to hunt or ask for the code. Keys were explained for access, I decided to have a pint or two before bed, the locals in the bar were extremely friendly and included me in their conversations, made me feel very welcome.
