“It was an ok visit but we wouldn't go back - just wasn't an inviting experience - and no dinner served on Monday meant we had to go out”

“Property was beautiful. Fixtures & fittings high quality. Parking free and easy access into the Town Centre on foot.”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. “The room was a bit small making it feel claustrophobic. But it was clean and the bed comfy. The staff were very friendly”

“Más bien agradable excepto por la calidad de las camas, que podía mejorarse para evitar el dolor de espalda debido a los colchones con muelles ya muy gastados. ”

“Great location for a place to stay in Shrewsbury. Abbey Foregte is close enough to the town centre for walking in, but quiet enough for staying. Parking was plentiful at the weekend. Room had everything you needed - plenty of tea & coffee, as well as corkscrew and wine glasses 😉. Would recommend staying here.”

“Lovely location”

“Situado cerca de zona Industrial de facil acceso . Todo cerca. Habitaciones limpias pero colchones muy incomodos. Del resto todo bien”

“Great location, friendly host who provided the extra bonus of cake! Very clean, although the bed and pillows were a little hard for our taste and we booked the downstairs room - so please be aware that you are able to hear street noise and people walking around the house, not very soundproof. Large modern bathroom and great amenities in the room, the host couldn’t do enough for you”
