“The room was large and comfortable. No reception and no breakfast but coffee and tea in the room. We were very satisfied and would stay again. ”

“Caro the host was lovely and friendly and very hospitable. The old Manor House is beautiful set in rolling countryside. The bedroom was large, beds were comfortable and good shower. Caro provides an excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would defo visit again. The Globe Inn nearby does good food and the staff and locals were good fun.”

Muy buena la calidad de la cena (exquisitas chuletillas de cordero con salsa de menta) y el desayuno, con unos huevos revueltos y un bacon infinitamente mejores de lo que se puede comer en cualquier hotel de cuatro estrellas. Por la tarde-noche se reúne la gente de la localidad a tomar unas cervezas y a cenar en lo que se convierte en un pub muy agradable de zona rural . “It is a unique place. Very well maintained and hosts are very kind. Breakfast is fantastic.”

“Booked as got stuck on the A303, nice staff, great breakfast and hard to argue with the price. My only minor criticism is being 6’3 the light they’d fitted to the single room was basically at face height so I cracked my head a couple of times getting in and out of bed. Otherwise would recommend for a cheap stay.”

“We came by rail. The choice of food was perfect. A smaller kettle would have been an advantage - to fit better under the tap. Also a larger coffee pot, so that it contained a 'top up'. One of the best hotels we have stayed at. Thankyou.”
