“The meals were excellent both for quality and price, staff very helpful. The bed was comfortable however the windows did not close entirely. It was quite warm so not a major problem for us but the windows needed refurbishment so they be opened or closed easily. The electric shower was very weak. These issues were relatively minor given the pluses of staff, food and comfortable beds”

“Did not appreciate a separate bathroom from our bedroom. We booked 12 months in advance and I am sure that I would not have booked if I had noticed that. Our room was situated at the top of the stairs which meant other guests walking past possibly as you were heading to have or return from a shower. “This was not a B&B as advertised. This was a grim, empty beach house where the owner, who lived an hour away, remotely answered the doorbell to tell guest how to find their keys. The only good thing to say about it was that the owner refunded my money promptly when I frantically was able to find proper accommodations.”
