“It needs a crib sheet in each room telling of breakfast times, emergency tel no's etc. The room was very dark. Bathroom OK but would benefit from some shelves to put toiletries on etc. Breakfasts were very good with a wide choice. Dining in was v good but we felt overpriced. The whole experience was good but felt at £180 it represnted poor value.”

“I never received any messages to say that I had to contact the hotel if I was arriving after 10pm from Expedia. Only when I arrived and reception was closed did I look at their website which stated that fact. Therefore I could not stay because I couldn’t check in and had no choice but to drive away. I understand it was not refundable, but I did expect to stay the night at least. In summary I got charged for the pleasure and couldn’t even stay. I paid for breakfast too. Poor communications. “We thought it would be an authentic country pub so bit disappointed with the soulless modern pub which was an entertainment venue too. Breakfast was nice and staff all pleasant. As we had window open as no air conditioner it was noisy with people talking loudly late at night. Only had 2 miniscule milk cartons left and we stayed 2 nights. No change of towels or any sign they had checked room.”
