“Great location for getting around Whitby. Shame about lack of car parking. Shower drain in our room was prone to blocking. Concerned it might flood the downstairs. We did mention it to staff. Overall a pleasant stay. Might be an idea to mention the stairs leading to upper room as less mobile guests may struggle”

“Dry Dock Cottage has a modern, clean interior, is very well furnished with all you need for a very comfortable stay, a nice property, however, be aware that the two flights of stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow and as with most of Whitby parking is at a premium, the closest we could get was a 20 minute walk away”

“Room was comfortable but a little cramped for two people . Tea /coffee making was available but didn’t use , shower was very good with plenty of hot water. This was primarily because the moment we arrived at the place we discovered the pets weren’t allowed anywhere beyond the ground floor and, if they were “well behaved” into the kitchen area. This accommodation can only be described as pet tolerant and not pet friendly.”
