Whangamomona is a small town on the Forgotten World Highway in New Zealand...as the name suggests, the highway - in the north island - is not visited very often, which is part of it's charm. The Bridge-to-Somewhere. One of 3 sister bridges (the Bridge-to-Nowhere and the Bridge-to-Elsewhere being the other 2). It's a detour off the Forgotten World Highway. When we did it, the road had been washed out 2 months previously so take your time driving to it.
