Enjoyed stay

Only booked a 1 night stay. Staff very helpful. Room was clean, bed comfortable and there was a good breakfast (additional charge). Some woodwork needs a paint touch up but maintaining an old hotel must be difficult.

The only downside to our stay at the royal hotel was the single glazed windows should be double glazed because the noise from the bars and clubs nearby unacceptable especially between midnight to 3am Otherwise our stay was lovely

We have stayed at this convenient property on a number of occasions. The staff are always friendly, and the hotel is clean and accessible. Some areas look a little tired, and it has been a while since we saw the hotel buzzing - especially the restaurant. We look forward to many repeat future bookings.

Didnt get off to a good start, having to pay £10 parking overnight. Bedroom was supposedly a superior with a sea view. It was very tired carpet worn with holes. Nothing Grand about this hotel

A quick weekend trip away!

Stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and it keeps getting better and better. A hotel with charm and history and is a jewel on the sea front of Weston-Super Mare.

The staff and food were very good. The they put me and my wife wich was on the top floor with a good view. But the room was flaking with paint falling off the walls with damp patches. It just needs updating a bit.
