After 71/2jourmey there was no way to get anything to eat so had to wait untill breakfast. Chalet needs up dating and a good clean as there was cobwebs in windows and bathroom ,tiles coming away from the wall and the sink taps looked as though they had mot been cleaned since thenronze age. Dinning room an not cope with the amout Of visitors at one sitting. Food was mainly warm when you were able to get some,but yhe food tasted very tasty and nice to eat. Staff were friendly a d hrounds well looked after. Did not see much entertainment at night ac yhere were no seats available dud to people reservi g them .

Stayed 3 nights. Overall stay very good. Basic chalet, towels and bed linen provided. Food was quite good, bit of a queue at times. Everything clean. Pool was closed, don't think its opening anytime soon. Entertainment was very good, Friday not so good.

Sand Bay, Kewstoke

My friend and I, age 65+, were really pleased with the accommodation for our 2 night stay. The twin bedded room was clean and bright, as was the bathroom. There was a kettle, mugs and teaspoons along with a drinks pack with tea, coffee and whitener. The excellent breakfast and dinner we're self-serve, with plenty of good quality meats, fresh vegetables and salads. There was good entertainment during the day and evening, with lovely music, including dancing, quizes and bingo. I enjoyed a line dance class. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My friend, on a mobility scooter, had good accessibility. We will definitely return.

Been going to sand bay for a few years now. But the last few times we have gone been disappointed. Our room smelt damp & unclean. This time we was served our drinks in plastic cups. I had a bottle of wine in a ice bucket. But wasn't allowed a wine glass & there was a hole in the dance floor & toilets smelt really bad. We actually came home a day early. One night was enough. Disappointed.

Very disappointed with our stay Im sorry to say. We arrived on Monday eve and cobwebs hanging from door entrance and bed sheets which hadn’t been cleaned properly greeted us in our rooms. Only one pillow each and we were told £10 to order a second pillow which is ridiculous! After 3 days we desperately needed some fresh towels but when I asked at reception, was told ‘we don’t replace towels until Day 5 and even then you have to order’ Many of the facilities eg swimming pool were out of use. The advert said Wi-Fi was available but this turned out to be not in the chalets themselves. Not good for kids! The staff also need to learn some basic customer service tips too like smiling at the guests and taking an interest. I honestly felt like I was being a nuisance asking for simple things and in the end gave up. I appreciate they have to deal with hundreds of people every week but for some of us ‘the paying customer’ this is our annual holiday and want it to be an experience to remember. Don’t usually leave reviews like this but felt compelled to do so this time.
