“Excellent one night stay over. Very friendly check in and sorted my couple of issues out immediately. Food was absolutely incredible. Even more so when the cost of 2 courses was just £23. Lamb and mint gravy with the Shepherd's Pie was amazing. Will certainly stay again.”

“The room was described as a “comfort room “ we loved it! It was surprisingly spacious enough, beautiful decor and soft furnishings. The bedding and towels quality were exceptional. Hospitality tray and outlook were lovely. If I had to give a small negative, there was a slight odour in the bathroom, from probably the cloths/ mops used to clean, a bit “ sweaty socks” type of odour which lingered. On another practical preference negative, the restaurant is beautiful, ambient and amazing service...

“The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice and quality is excellent. I noticed they also offer packed lunches to hikers. Rooms are air conditioned ( although the casing made a cracking sound through the night) Its dog friendly but we did not bring ours due to an error by expedia. However i fail to see why a dog was not allowed as the room was so disappointing. The decor was so dark and depressing. Shabby, with dark brown walls and brown carpet. “Great stay at St Hildas. Fantastic friendly staff. Stayed in 'Venice ' themed room which was lovely and had great double bath. Loads of choice for continental breakfast. Short walk to join Cleveland way and can head to Staithes or Runswick Bay in 30-40 mins”
