“Great location just a gentle stroll to the beach. Coastal path to Sheringham is a nice walk. Walk to Cromer not as picturesque, but the town is lovely.”

“Room and bathroom clean and spacious. Bar and food good. Staff friendly. Buses outside to nearby villages. Train station 5 mins which was really useful for getting around and local shop, pub and cafe 5 mins. Social club 5 mins. Great band and friendly people. Car parking at rear. Beach 10 mins.”

“We visited the Roman Camp Inn for a short break to celebrate or 60th anniversary, all the Staff were lovely and helpful ,the food was great ,the rooms were clean and comfortable .Lovely gardens. I’ve read a few reviews online before booking ,and the majority have been positive ,you will always get someone who will find fault, but I must say that we really enjoyed our stay there .”

“I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment, everything was just how you would want it. Very helpful staff at check in, lovely room with a seaview, comfy bed, great shower. Breakfast was lovely, as was the lady serving it. I was checked out by one of the owners, who was very friendly and helpful. So I can highly recommend The Two Lifeboats!”

“Room was tidy and clean with a fancy towel display on the bed, (nice touch for the wife). The staff was friendly and polite and made conversation with you, the bar staff was just the same, even the manager made polite conversation about the history of the pub. The bar food l👀k’d amazing. Breakfast, there was plenty to choose from, plus, what I call a good builders breakfast. When we are in the neighbourhood we would stay there again. Thanks to everyone”

“Great location. Friendly staff. Good food and drink choices. Site is lovely with lots of space to sit and enjoy scenery. The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. There was an orange film on shower tray which we scrubbed off. There was a goo under soap the whole time. Glasses which were used and dirt in first day remained in room dirty the whole time.
