“I was really looking forward to my stay at The Candlesticks. However as soon as I entered, I began to have my doubts. “We loved the charm of The Old Pheasant. We stayed in the Rutland Suite and it was very spacious for our family of four. Our teenagers appreciated having their own beds (instead of sharing a double). Supper was delicious and the breakfast included with the stay was dynamite! Wish our schedule had allowed for another night here.”

“Un hermoso hotel y un restaurant muy bueno ”

“Lovely hotel in the centre of Deeping , with beer garden beside the river”

“Primarily chosen as it was near to an event we were attending at the Nene Valley Railway (a short drive from the pub). We liked that the accommodation was in a separate building to the pub (although the pub was not loud). Good breakfast, evening meals, and friendly staff. We have a lovely walk around the village one evening, went back following day to try the local tea rooms but they closed early which was a shame. Will definitely stay here again”

“Staff were great. Good location. Breakfast was reasonable.”

“Really appreciated being able to check in late having had to travel to Peterborough because of NATs issue. The gentleman on reception also leant us a charger”
