“The best thing about Smith Rock Chalets is the view. To begin, the road in is over a mile (2.2km) of rough gravel. The shower has slightly warm water, at best. The wood kitchen chairs are uncomfortable, and the couch (hide-a-bed) in the loft (TV room) is equally uncomfortable. The bed was fairly soft but not too bad to sleep on. “Très bon déjeuner dans une superbe salle a manger. Salle de bains exigue”

“Room was clean and wifi easily accessible.”

“The parking lot is not convenient to the entry. The registration desk is up a narrow set of stairs. No TV in the room. The shower is extremely small. “Warm and welcoming property and host who could not have been more helpful. Highly recommend.”

“Attractive Victorian House that’s well maintained. Rooms are on the second floor. The lights from a building across the road were on all night—the shades helped, but still a distraction. Updated bathroom. No hair dryer. No TV. Wifi was slow. The owners were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the 3 restaurants in town. Sadly, Pictou is kind of a depressing town, though everyone was very nice. Not much there to see or do. We did a hike outside of town.”
