“Great traditional hotel with incredible staff and a fantastic breakfast!”

“Friendly & professional and a good breakfast. Tiny TV in a large room was almost useless.”

“The room was clean and comfortable- bed a bit low and no armchair to sit in. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were helpful and very friendly”

“Great view. Limited parking but did get down the road. Good location for walking the hills. Good breakfast”

“Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff.”

“Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet.”

“Breakfast and the room were perfect!”

“My lady is from the Philippines so for her to stay in a place with so much history was amazing”
