We were there while a Rick Steves tour was on, and the staff went extra to assure we were welcomed and well looked after too. They were super accommodating about answering our questions, and friendly - clearly seem to enjoy learning about us as guests. The hotel was full, yet we were well cared for. It was an easy walk too to get from the bus to the hotel, and then into town. ”

Good choice of relatively local (less than 10 miles) public houses for evening fare. Already hoping to get back there when next visiting the Lakes, which start only six miles north.”
