It’s very clean, regal, and fits the DC “vibe” in a unique way. I love that it’s a Marriott without feeling like one (in a good way.) They don’t offer room service which is kind of inconvenient, but they do have a to-go option when their restaurant is open. Check-in staff were personable and very accommodating. Extremely close to a metro entrance which makes a huge difference!

Beautiful and grand hotel. Was quiet and relaxing, great mattress and pillows, except for the heat/cooling register, which was very loud and kept going on every 5 or so minutes, so I had to keep adjusting the sound level of the TV. But I still love The Mayflower! And the shower is excellent, good water pressure.
