We had a wonderful stay at the Capital Hilton. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, making us feel at home throughout our visit. The hotel’s location is excellent—just a short walk from the White House and many of Washington’s main attractions, making it the perfect base for exploring the city. We would definitely recommend the Capital Hilton to anyone visiting Washington, D.C., and would happily stay here again.

Location is ideal. Rooms are impeccably prepared, staff is exceptionally friendly, elevators are timely and efficient, bartenders are cordial and available but not smothering or overbearing. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I’d love to purchase the same mattress. The hotel was within a short walking distance to the White House. Unfortunately we only found a couple of close restaurants.

All things about the hotel were great but the staff were outstanding. Shout out to the guys doing the valet parking. They were kind, courteous and helpful in so many ways....great bunch of guys!

Clean room and nice facilities. A+ location and staff. Expensive but that’s Washington. Only downside is the area and other people staying at hotel can be fairly loud. Again expected for the city and location.

Beautiful historical building. Just down the street from the White House(easily walked). Staff very friendly-we never passed anyone from the front desk to housekeeping that failed to greet us as we passed by. They were extremely busy but very efficient. We also ate in their bar/restaurant one night and although a bit pricey it was delicious and our server was Ms Personality. Our entire trip was better than we even expected-we would totally stay here again!

The room was exceptional. It was very clean and everything was in working order. The location was ideal for several tourist areas from the White House to Washington Memorial. The weather was spectacular but it was very congested making it difficult to drive around as you were stuck in traffic for 30 minutes at a time.
