I came for a single day to run the Marine Corp Marathon, and the hotel served perfectly. It's in the heart of DC, easy walk from points on the course, close to transportation to/from Pentagon station, the room was clean and comfortable, and the valet even pointed me to free street parking right in front of the hotel. I had to pay to extend checkout to 3pm, but it all worked out well.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Hotel Lombardy. The location was very convenient to nearby metro stops. The staff was so welcoming and efficient. Our room was kept spotless every day, and all products were replenished daily. Bottles of water were also provided daily. We felt truly pampered and well taken care of. I will definitely stay here again!

Staff and service is always excellent at The Lombardy. It’s a very old hotel so rooms are a bit quirky, but that said they are comfortable, spacious, clean, and have big windows. The desk and door/car staff are always friendly, helpful, just super.
