The staff was friendly. The concierge was really friendly and helpful. He let us know about a small night tour of the major stops around the Washington mall that I highly recommend. He had a good relationship with the cab drivers out front. We were in walking distance of most of what we wanted to see..the only knock is the breakfast was really high. We went a few doors down to get breakfast

Very convenient to the national mall - we spent a week visiting museums and monuments. The front desk and concierge were amazing. The room was spacious, the bed comfy, the shower beautifully hot. The breakfast buffet was wonderful but really, really expensive. I guess everything in downtown DC is expensive, depending on when you come.

Best thing is the location, convenient to the museums and the Metro at L'Enfant Plaza. Not fancy, but extremely comfortable, well maintained, extremely clean, and a good restaurant/bar. This was my third stay and we will be back to see some more of the Smithsonian!

The hotel location is perfect for visiting the National Mall and museums. It was only about a 5 min. walk away. The staff was very friendly and the hotel had lots of options for food and quick eats like at the Starbucks Coffee that is part of the hotel. The rooms were very clean and looked very modern. Beds were reasonably firm with nice bedding. The metro and other train lines are close so there is some noise but nothing too disturbing. Would certainly come back.
