The rooms are absolutely lovely, with great beds and all the amenities you’d expect of a high end hotel room. However, it’s wasn’t perfect: we arrived off a late flight at the end of an extended trip with a lot of luggage, and were offered no help with heavy bags - struggling to drag suitcases over plush carpets at the end of a line by day was less than ideal. Strangely, our experience leaving the hotel was the same - as we struggled through the doors with luggage and had to call our own taxi, the staff watched in silence. It was a slightly odd level of service for a 5 star luxury hotel. Also, if you’re interested in the pool, please be aware that it’s not a nice relaxing space… it’s a utilitarian basement pool with lane ropes surrounded by windows looked over by a busy gym, and the pool itself has a lot of rehab equipment and is booked out for that purpose much of the time. It’s probably great for morning fitness, but if you are looking for a vacation style pool, this isn’t it.
