“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”

“Staff, owners and even guests all friendly and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for owner snd staff. Lovely relaxing atmosphere in spacious, airy comfortable rooms. Plenty of free parking. Joanna was amazing, and even provided complimentary champgne for our wedding anniversary. Great food too. Our favourite place. We'll be staying again. Steve snd Jill.”

“The property was lovely, the cleaner could be a little more thorough but it was nice, however the location being central is somewhat noisy, if it’s not boy racers it’s tractors if it’s not tractors it’s the local homeless directly across the street who sit in the rest area drinking shouting and defecating in full view! This is not a reflection on the property itself more so for Liskeard.. police were good about this and it was cleaned the following day. Liskeard not a place to stay for a...

“This is an excellent travellers rest, quirky, cool in the style of an of an old English inn. The location I thought was the best to getaway from the hustle and bustle. A short walk to Port Isaac and all it has to offer. The pub has a great atmosphere and the food was top shelf. The host and his staff were great, friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.”
