“The Dock Hotel is a pub, a working man's pub, which has been converted into a very nice and very comfortable hotel. The staff were very helpful and really friendly. My room was excellent. Spotlessly clean and comfortable too. Highly recommended, with a real piece of North East charm.”

“Gorgeous little B&B run by the lovely Les. Everywhere was spotless and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfy, very pretty and had everything we could need for our 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Felt like by the end of our stay that Les had become a friend and a confidante 😉
Definitely planning a return trip… ”

“Lovely stay, room immaculate, staff friendly and attentive on arrival (thank you Susan!) Bar/pub welcoming, nice friendly atmosphere. Could not fault food, was tasty, fresh and good portion sizes. Breakfast was served in lovely communal area where we could help ourselves to drinks. Overall great overnight stay. Thank you ☺️ ”

“The bed and breakfast experience lived up to its billing with prompt and excellent service from Michelle whenever requested. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices and the rooms were kept tidy with the suite providing the opportunity to relax in private. ”

“Stayed one night prior to visiting Alnwick gardens, chosen primarily for location.
Staff very friendly and helpful,we did not have any meals there as we walked into Alnwick.
Pleased to have a kettle and coffee available in the room for the morning.
As others commented the bathroom plumbing was very noisy, with drainage smells apparent.
