“Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, reliable wifi for business travelers. I arrived before check in time and the owner was very kind and gave me another room that was ready. Local community is very close but kind to outsiders. Convenience store very close by. Will definitely stay there again when I travel to that area. Thank you Jaimie and crew, I truly enjoyed my stay!”

“No estaba mal para un día de paso pero nada a destacar. El desayuno a la carta estaba bien.”

“Decent room, perhaps a bit of noise from guests (Friday night) but spacious and comfortable room. Reasonably priced. Pub meal was on point and better than it was previously. Staff were great. Parking was fine though not many spaces if arriving at a busy time.”

“An old building and we had stayed just once before the current owners took on the hotel. The staff were friendly, excellent prices for drinks both in the restaurant and bar. The Sri Lankan food was superb, tasty and full of flavour, next time I'll as for it to be hotter. The room was clean, comfortable despite being in an old building. Bathroom spotless, lovely fluffy towels, perhaps a little smell of damp in them. We will certainly return.”

“Terrible. La recepcionista decidió cobrarme con la tarjeta equivocada y no me hizo la factura; ocasionándome problemas con la contabilidad de mi empresa. Por la mañana, desayuno lento y no practico para alguien que tenía una agenda muy ocupada ese día con muchos kilómetros por delante. No los recomiendo”

“Very dusty bedroom, wood panelling behind the bed was full of dust and cobwebs. Shower tray had black mould present. Kitchen had alot of cobwebs, dead spiders. Fridge seal was filthy, oven glove had holes and was burnt needs replacing. Windows inside are filthy and to top it off dog poo left for days which you had to try to avoid in the dark. The owners are trying to sell the property and are clearly not bothered.”

“Service charge of 10% is a bit high on the restaurant bill.”

“Communal areas excellent but rooms a little tired, especially bathroom which needs some tlc. Staff excellent. Dogs allowed and well received.”

“The staff and food are brilliant the only thing that lets it down are the bathroom I have stayed about 7 times now beds are comfortable room clean and tidy just the bathrooms need updating having said that I will be back because the staff are so nice and friendly”

“El B&B era estupendo ,la familia encantadora y muy atenta. El desayuno muy bueno y abundante y las habitaciones muy limpias. A 5 minitos del centro.”

“Great ”

“We adored our stay and wish we had more time to spend here. What a wonderful country setting in a traditional B &B. Beautiful chapel views from our room which also overlooked a sweet field with sheep. We were welcomed at the door and bid goodbye personally. The cooked to order breakfast was wonderful and thoughtfully prepared and laid out. We would love to return if we are lucky enough to do so. True gem!!! Suzie and Wes from Oregon.”

“Needed a last minute stay and found an absolute gem with this place. It has just been taken over and they have made a great job of the renovation. Spotlessly clean. Really comfy bed and great shower. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Nice and quiet on a night even though it faces the main road. Two minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Fantastic overnight stay. Would 100% recommend. Good luck to the new owners.”
