“Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. When we arrived at 4pm we had to wait for it to be serviced.  It was apparent...

“Property has been upgraded downstairs and the restaurant and bar area are lovely as is the outside courtyard. When you go upstairs it’s apparent that an upgrade is still required. Our room - 3 - overlooked a very busy main road and the secondary double glazing did nothing to keep the constant traffic noise at bay. There are two windows in that’s room. And they are old and rotten. Triple glazed windows required. Carpets need replacing. Bathroom has been upgraded and is very pleasant but b&b...

“Garden Suite was lovely and beautiful bathroom (with TV screen set in the tiles!) Lovely quality breakfast. Allowed to leave dog in room, but not to take him into breakfast which was understandable. Our dog kicked off barking and we couldn't leave him. Massive thanks to Caroline in the dining room as she accomodated as seperately in a room overlooking the gardens so we could bring our dog with us into breakfast!”

“Room was tidy and clean with a fancy towel display on the bed, (nice touch for the wife). The staff was friendly and polite and made conversation with you, the bar staff was just the same, even the manager made polite conversation about the history of the pub. The bar food l👀k’d amazing. Breakfast, there was plenty to choose from, plus, what I call a good builders breakfast. When we are in the neighbourhood we would stay there again. Thanks to everyone”

“Lovely stay this week in the massive family room. 4 singles and one double bed in the room and it still felt very spacious. There was also a cupboard with hangers, a fan, tea/coffee making facilities and a huge fridge which came in very handy. Complimentary bottled water was also provided and again was much appreciated given the hot weather. The en-suite bathroom had an electric shower over the bath. It wasn’t very strong but the water was always hot. Enjoyed a cooked breakfast every morning in...
