Vacations Close To Virginia Beach Boardwalk

Not good

I liked the hotel. It’s a great place to be, especially if you have kids. they got a movie theater and a kid room lots of pools, a hot tub, a free laundry facility. It’s a little dated but the location the service the amenities were just amazing. i will return. It is on the far side of the beach, meaning bring a good pair of walking shoes to get the the middle of the action. but i liked that it was further because the beach was less crowded. i also liked the balcony, and that it was closed off so you didn’t have to see your neighbors. the shower was hot and had good power. no complaints here. i loved it

The staff was extremely helpful and the room was incredibly lovely. Would definitely recommend and stay back in this hotel anytime.

Property needs a lot of maintenance, our room had a bathroom door that wouldn’t close, remote with no battery cover, chair with stains on it, chipped furniture all around the room, bed sheets with holes on them, and a cracked window. When asked the staff to be moved to another room they stated they didn’t have a replacement and I just had to deal with it. I pointed out on their counter was many more room keys and they can place me in one of those rooms. They quickly said, you have to stay in that room because you are assigned to that room and if you don’t like it you can check out!!!! What kind of customer service is that, spent the next hour with Expedia customer support trying to get a refund for 7 nights. Would not recommend this particular hotel ever!

This was the loudest property I have ever stayed in. Be aware if you want a good nights sleep that the walls are paper thin.

We enjoyed a wonderful three-night stay at Founders Inn and Spa with my wife and our young children, and it was the perfect family escape. The exceptionally large outdoor pool was the highlight — spacious, clean, and such a relaxing spot for the whole family to enjoy. The overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, which made it feel like a true getaway. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally nice and attentive, quickly helping with anything we needed. It’s a fantastic option for families looking for a peaceful, welcoming resort experience near Virginia Beach. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.
