“Staff and management were wonderful and offered great suggestions for things to see during our brief visit. This was a lovely property with very comfortable bed and two chairs, which is nice not to have to lie on the bed the whole time. “This is the only hotel nearby, so there aren’t really many options to begin with. That being said, my overall experience was good (except for some noisy people in the room upstairs, which I reported to reception, but it wasn’t really addressed); it’s close to the town and in a quiet area, and unless you have noisy neighbors, you should have a pretty decent night’s sleep. “The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with an assortment of coffees and teas. The breakfast was good and my wife really enjoyed the home-made yogurt. I enjoyed an omelette on a toasted bagel and a fresh baked croissant. It is a great place to stay if you are visiting Markdale or visiting the Down Home Farm restaurant for a farm-to-table experience. ”

“Our stay at Rocklyn Inn was incredible. We felt so comfortable and welcomed there. This B&B is in a charming, historic hotel whose recent renovations kept much of its beautiful history and seamlessly incorporated modern updates.
