“We stayed in room 5, lovely views down to the river and garden. I can imagine it being a little noisy on a sunny weekend, luckily it was a little cool and rainy so very quiet. Unfortunately we had no hot water for the whole of our stay and were not offered any compensation or a reduction in the price.”

Limited parking especially due to event in the conference centre next door. Breakfast was not great scrambled egg and bacon not edible for me the rest was ok. Breakfast was generous, but the time had to be pre- booked at reception Room was a slim 1st floor challet.During restaurant hours you hear the clatter of saucepans and drone of exaust fans. The breakfasts and evening meals were of very good quality. It was our first visit to Shropshire and we would certainly come back to the Riverside Inn which was perfectly situated for day trips to Shrewsbury, Ironbridge and David Austin Roses, among other places.”
