“We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10”

“We can't recommend Storrs Gate House enough, such a good break away here. Susann and Glenn are amazing hosts, such friendly, lovely people. Breakfasts were incredible and definitely set you up for the day, we are missing those breakfasts! The house is so beautiful, our room was perfect, plenty of space and beautifully decorated. Our celebratory time away was made all the more special staying at Storrs Gate, we would definitely like to stay here again, thank you for such a lovely stay.”

“Stayed in room 6 on the top floor for a romantic weekend away with the Mrs. The room was lovely and the bath was a really nice added extra. We had a slight issue with one of the radiators not heating which caused the room to be cold, however I called one of the provided numbers and an electric heater was provided within literally 5 minutes by a lovely girl working there. Breakfast was really nice and the staff were super accommodating. I would definitely recommend considering a stay here and...
