“We were surprised to find out that the parking was not guaranteed and limited, once we had paid on-line. However, we got there early and did secure a space. Excellent location in the heart of Grasmere. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good.”

“This property is extremely poignant as I yes I proudly attended the adjacent school many years ago and therefore it is extremely special very much within my heart. During my proud attendance at the school, this used to be a fully functional agricultural farm. Years later, I understand the property Lee dormant and I’m actually surprised the school didn’t take it over and continue it as an agricultural farm. It would have been Ideal had the School transformed into a further education College as...

“I loved my stay here. The location is perfect. Ambleside is very walkable so everything was close. The room had windows with beautiful views of the town, and I really appreciated there being a full length mirror in there. It was quiet and comfortable. Meg and John take great care of their guests. I was given a parking disc that could be used at a few different car parks in the area. Breakfast was absolutely lovely with a lot of choices. I’m so pleased with my choice to stay here!”
