Ranchos en Ullingswick

“The food was excellent”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet.”

“Having arrived late and leaving early. I have to say the staff were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. A few little things to note. Breakfast doesn't start until 8am, not helpful if your need to start your day any earlier. Staying in room five (stables area). “Comfortable accommodation with friendly professional staff.”

“Excellant breakfast, accommodation adequate for a short stay”

“Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately”

“The room was clean and comfortable- bed a bit low and no armchair to sit in. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were helpful and very friendly”

“A polite request for a room change was no bother to the manager who immediately sorted a more suitable room and provided excellent customer service throughout our stay.”
