“The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!”

“So sad to see a what was once probably a lovely hotel now looking very tired and in need of updating. No aircon, marked carpets and tired bathroom. The only plus was the lovely receptionist who was very professional. When we arrived for breakfast, 80% of the tables had dirty plates and cups left and no-one clearing anything away yet there were 3 staff members milling around the bar area. Coffee machine out of order too!”
