Cozy town good hub to chateaus
No Uber, no free parking, no or few taxis, narrow streets. Bets paid parking garage is Indigo - Anatole.
In general the hotel location is perfect, good people running it. With a little touch and better maintenance in can be a great place. Personally I’m willing to give second chance.
Very nice city, easy to get around. We did not have a car so did not go out to the chateaux in the area, but there was plenty to see in the city itself. Had lunch at a wonderful North African restaurant.
Tours street parking is great - free after 6 pm Till 9 am- so we rented a car to view the Châteaus instead of the bus. Parking at the Châteaus is minimal - but the train rides to some are pricey - we thought it easier and less walking to rent
