“The property was fine, being met with a pair of underpants on the outside banister didn’t bode well, but once inside it was fine. We are in our seventies so going downstairs in the morning with two cups of tea wasn’t ideal but we worked around it. The place was clean and very well equipped although we ate out every day. Salcombe is very niche and expensive although very beautiful and the natives were friendly enough. There are some lovely views a hilly walk away. There are National Trust gardens...

“Beautiful view from the bedrooms and patio. Compact living area, comfortable for 3 of us but might be a bit tight for 4. Could do with a bigger sofa or another comfortable chair in the lounge/dining area. Basic equipment for simple cooking Some new patio seats would make outside sitting more comfortable Lovely to have the fire to warm up by in the evening. Comfortable beds. Over bath shower.”

“The apartment is amazing with fantastic views across the estuary. Warning though, the parking space is very dificult to maneuver into, my Toyota Corolla barely made it, by backing in through the entrance, anything bigger you will struggle. Double warning, the apartment is up a very steep and long road, even 30 plus's were struggling, and there are no taxis. After our first trek up the hill we always took the car into the centre car parks, but there isn't always a space (hence my £70 parking...
