“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. “A beautiful old building in a great location but it needs a lot of money spending on it. The room was large but extremely dated. Carpet had stains, one of the beds had a castor missing which meant it wasn’t level. The bathroom was very old & the shower had no pressure. The mattresses were old and springy/soft. Could be a wonderful place but sadly not worth the nightly rate for what was supposed to be an executive room.”
