“Stayed at the George Washington in room 6 on 15th July. Room very nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer provided flatscreen tv and nice shower and towels. Had our evening meal here to very nice chicken madras and the homemade steak pudding washed down with some nice red wine. Very nice breakfast here full English very tasty and cooked to perfection well worth a stay at the Washington. Old school brewery just behind and the start of the Warton crag walk giving great...

The chilled complimentary fruit juice & water was much appreciated after a 400 mile journey! My only issue was that room 4 was right over the outside seating area and I can only imagine that during World Cup season this could prove to be a problem. As it was I did have the creaking stairs (access for all guests) and loud music blasting from the bar below...

“The accommodation was OK considering the room was above the karaoke bar and facing the street where loads of people were drinking loudly. Minor problems included an amply shower gel dispenser in the shower.”
