Vacations Close To The Shoppes at Carlsbad Mall

Booked this last minute because the rate at the time was insanely cheap. ($35) Upon arrival, expect to see homeless at the entrance. Definitely didn’t necessarily feel safe, especially at check in when the front desk says “we are here at the front desk until __am, then open again at __am. If someone is knocking on your door, be cautious , it’s not us” Rooms were recently renovated but seemed as if they didn’t fully complete the projects. Ex: walls look like plastered drywall, new vinyl flooring and showers, but still a hole in the bathroom wall near the floor. Sheets were of motel quality. Like i said the price this night was so cheap it was a no brainer to give it a shot. Decided id book again the next night just bc it was such a good deal, and they raised the price x5!! Insane for a place of this quality. Overall, if youre desperate for a place to sleep for a few hrs. And the price is right, ok but wouldn’t spend over $100 /night here.

I got charged a separate fee that had nothing to do with my parking and when I called them all they told me was I have no idea we don’t have anything charged on our end but clearly I can see the charge on my account. Then I checked in and the restroom toilet was leaking all around anytime you flushed. Then i got another room in a sketchy part of their hotel. So i had to stay in the room with the bad toilet until the next day. Then the person at the front desk some goth looking girl was so damn rude! She alone is the reason for this bad review! AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Perfect place . Just 3 minutes to the beach walking .
