Vacations Close To The All England Lawn Tennis Club Centre Court

A unique hotel, and very friendly reception staff. I was in the Orient Express room which is a small single - you may wish to let reception know if you are particularly tall as the bed is deliberately like a train sleeper. The reception is clean and welcoming but if you're sensitive to scents, be aware that it is quite heavily fragranced. I didn't use any of the amenities but it does look like a very interesting and unusual place to explore. Would recommend.

Charming boutique hotel in a stately older building. My room was very cool- it was unique being bilevel. There is an enclosed patio where you can sit and have breakfast and look out on the garden. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and inviting with live jazz.What really makes this hotel stand out though besides the terrific location (across from the British Museum and an easy walk to the theater district) is the staff. Everyone- the receptionists, the people who clean the rooms, the breakfast greeters and the concierges- everyone was very helpful and friendly. Being from the US where hotels have ceased having a concierge and expecting you to just use Google- it was really nice to speak to a knowledgeable human concierge who enhanced my trip with their info and tips. I plan to stay here again in my next trip to London.

Quite a nice hotel but there were some negatives. The shower head was cracked so water went sideways as well as down. The TV hadn't been retuned in years so there were channels listed that are long since departed (Horror etc). BBC1 HD had no sound (typical of a TV that need retuning). The bedside lamp has a mind of its own so it turned off when it pleased. The room was a decent size and the bed big and comfortable.

very nice location! stayed here solo traveling for 4 nights! i booked a private room and it was perfect! was a little dusty on the floor and could of used a proper wipe down but i would stay here again!!!!

We had a great stay at Aethos Shoreditch. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out, and the whole experience was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well designed, and the location was perfect for exploring London. Everything went exactly as expected with no issues at all. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
