“I needed to change the check in date, I wrote to the hotel and they didn't answer, I contacted expedia and told them about the issue, they called the hotel, they said they would contact me but they never did. Basically they kept the money, as I had already paid online. The worst customer service ever. Take that into account, do not pay them in advance.”

Anh is fluent in english and more than willing to provide assistance in booking further transport or suggesting activities in the surrounding areas. “Staff is very friendly and very helpful. They gave me a great tour on a moto of the surrounding tourist sites, cooked me delicious breakfast every morning, and gave me some free wine every night. My room was clean, toilet and shower works great, and plenty of hot water. The surrounding city/village is beautiful. They assisted me in booking my next bus to Sapa village. ”

The bathroom had black mold, the sink area needed to be cleaned, there were a lot of cobwebs and a spider on the ceiling, then really questionable streaks / stains on the sheets. I could not sleep comfortably the first night, I booked a tour the next day, so I packed my bags so I could leave that day even though I paid for 2 nights.
